Kraft Foods Inc. changed its name to Mondelez International, Inc. on October 1, 2012, following the spin-off of its North American grocery business, which became Kraft Foods Group, Inc. On Thursday, July 2, 2015 the Kraft Heinz Company successfully completed the merger between Kraft Foods Group, Inc. and the H.J. Heinz Company.
